From humble beginnings, the Founding Member, Claudia Pretorius started Action Cape Vehicle Hire and Brokerage in September 1997. Since then, she has grown the organization into a viable business, introducing partners and securing strong association with industry leaders.

The three directors representing the majority shareholder are Gill Larsen, Claudia Pretorius, and Henry Pretorius. All three are highly experienced business people who have owned and managed manufacturing concerns.

As a brokerage, we are able to outsource any vehicle. Through our valued association with supplier companies, and their support, we are able to become flexible and innovative with our rates.

Our fleet now consists of a wide range of cars and busses. We have also earned a good reputation for providing 4X4’s, Single, and Double Cab bakkies.

As a community-based company, we pride ourselves in our commitment to social and community re-investment. Our diversity reflects this culture, and is demonstrated by the ownership and management of the company. The team includes founders, Mrs Claudia Pretorius , Henry Pretorius and Gill Larsen.

Our dedicated management and staff are totally committed to quality of service, and as a team, take pride in the combined 50 years service we have given, and the experience we have gained in the industry.

Our efforts have been rewarded with continued support from our clients. Today we specialise in a national hire service to the corporate and leisure market.

Our mission is to acquire a substantial share of the Car Rental Market throughout South Africa, without compromising service and price. Through our success, we strive to inspire, promote, and encourage self-employment, and self-empowerment.
